-- Directv recently replaced an HD receiver with an H21-200.
-- Now my mx-900 will not operate the new box.
-- There are no codes in the editor for the H21.
-- It was previously set to Model-H10, Code 173.
-- I have tried all of the codes available, still no luck.

Suggestions??

H-21 like all current DTV receivers use code 173. Make sure they did not set the receiver up as an RF remote.

Bingo. The answer was right in front of me. I was searching everything to do with the URC, and it was actually the setting on the Directv remote. It was set to RF. Problem solved.

Does it really matter what model number I have it set to, as long as it the code is 173?

Thank you!!

As long as it is a HXX or a DXX series with address 1, you are ok.

What is you need to change one receiver to a different code other then 00001. I have 2 receivers and now the remote changes both of them. If I change the other id to 00002 I don't know how to change the mx-850 to see it. Can anyone help?
