I appreciate anyone's help on this. I'm new to understanding how to program tne MX900. I've had mine for about 3 years. Recently I bought and installed a new receiver and added a Blu-ray player to my system. How do I switch receivers on the remote? I also need to add the BR player to it as well. Thank you for any help you might provide.

You need to program your remote via software on your computer to reflect the changes in devices you have. You have the editor software, correct?

Thank you for the response. Yes I do have the software downloaded. Unforttuantely, the revceiver and blu-ray player are not listed in the database. My thought is that I will need to manually copy to IR codes from the existing remotes that came with the products. I was not able to obtain the Live Update function with the software, a similar challenge I've been reading throughout this forum. Nevertheless, I'm convinced there's a way to do this. I just don't want to mess up the existing commands that are already in the remote.

For the receiver, you may find that one of the same brand receiver models in the database that you have works most or all of the functions of your new receiver--some models don't change codes that often. For any codes that don't work, and for the Blu-ray player, you can use the "Learn" function to learn buttons from the original remotes into your MX-900 program. (The MX-900 programming manual is available in the "Files" section here at RC.)

Yes, the way to do it is to learn the functions from the original remotes to the MX-900.
