I am programming a single MX880 remote with standalone editor and have run into an obstacle. I am using a signle MX880 to control two different TV's each with their own cable boxes. The client selected a variety of fav channels identical for each TV but I don't see a way to seperate between the two cable boxes. Is this a limitation of the MX880. If so, can someone recommend URC model that could support seperate fav's for each TV/Cablebox combo.
Thanks in advance!

While there's only one "Favorites" section (of 14 pages) on the remote, they can be anything you want them to be. They're just macros that can have any commands in them, so you just have to separate the two cable boxes. The issue would be if you're using the channel icons, you couldn't distinguish between the two TV/Cablebox locations except by placing them on different pages (ie: pages 1-? are TV/Cable 1 and pages ?-14 are TV/Cable 2). To keep them together, you could use the blank buttons and label them accordingly (HBO-Cable1, HBO-Cable2), maybe with one location in the left column and the other in the right. There are other possibilities using push-and-hold and/or variables, but you get the idea.

I ran into this problem at my house. What I did was put a favs button on the lcd screen.
Sat 1 Favs Jump to favs page 1
Sat 2 Favs Jump to favs page 2
Didn't think about the variable trick but may look into it.
