I was able to get some hex codes of discreet functions for the Samsung LN46B7000, but I cannot figure out how to get them entered and working in the MX-980 editor.

I tried tabs between blocks of numbers, spaces instead of tabs, nothing separating the blocks. But, nothing worked for me.

Some of the hex formats are:

discreet on 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x02
discreet off 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x01
TV 0x0a 0x00 0x00 0x00
HDMI2: 0x0a 0x00 0x05 0x01

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Dean

Your format for hex is wrong.

Go into the Samsung TV database in MX980 editor and use the newest discretes - I think 2007 discretes is the one I use and all you are looking for is there.

You are making this way harder than it needs to be.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
