Has anyone programmed their remote for this receiver?
The ir for the jvc remote is rm-srxd701j. On my MX900 editor it doesn't offer that exact one. I don't have the origional remote and in order to assign the hdmi inputs, you must do it via remote control. Any ideas or help?

Did you try other codes. Usually manufactures use the same code set on most receivers.

yeah I went through a bunch of codes and they all worked but on the origional remote there is a video input button that assigns the hdmi to the inputs and the codes don't have it

Is not in the setup menu on the receiver? All of the receivers I have used have assignable inputs.

In the manual it says its only available through the remote. I called JVC and they said the same thing. This is supposed to be their big bad $1000 receiver but they dropped the ball on this one.
