It seems that the Sky+HD (230) pre-programmed codes do not work at all on the stand-alone editors (MX-950 and MX-900 tested). By that I mean no IR or RF signal is transmitted!
I added this device to my MX-950 (and MX-900) using the stand-alone editors and found that the remote does not actually transmit an IR/RF signal!
And before you ask, yes... the device is set to transmit IR and RF.
I added a pre-programmed code to one button and a learned code to another button. I set the device to send RF and IR. Result...
1. Learned code works
2. Pre-programmed code does not
I discovered that the IR eye attached to my MRF-350 was not illuminating when I pressed the (pre-programmed) button (which it should do even if the code is incorrect) so I tried learning the button using a Pronto TSU2000. The Pronto did not detect the pre-programmed code at all but had no issue with detecting the learned code.
It seems that the pre-programmed (230) codes are shooting blanks on the stand-alone editors.
I successfully programmed an MX-980 with the Sky+HD (230) pre-programmed codes using CCP but the MX-950 can't be programmed with CCP.
Perhaps I am missing something(?)
Any thoughts?
Can you post the link for the codes you are using, or are you coming straight out of the db? I know there is a file floating around here:
[Link: awe-europe.com] for Sky Codes. It's a TC driver, which you may not have access to. (I am assuming as you are running stand alone, not even CCP).
The reason the stand alone editor doesn't have it is because URC stopped updating them. End of story. The only stand alone editors that are still being given any time are the ones that were not incorporated into CCP like the MX3000.
About a year ago, I finally had to give in and learn the (mostly terribly window over window over pop up) layout of CCP and leave my stand alones behind. I would suggest doing the same, as you will continue to find codes missing from the DB. I just ran into this the other day, but I was using a integra x.1 receiver from YEARS ago, and the stand alone did not have the codes. These times are changing.
