I don't have the authorization code for the Universal website.

Is there another place it has been posted?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

try a search in this forum...

You'll find what your options are.

Thanks for your post.

I ran a search but could not find a link for the software which does not require a code.

All current software must be obtained from your dealer. For certain older models it can be obtained from URC's website using the remote's serial number.

Which model do you have?

NXG Technologies is OEM'ing the MX-850 under their own brand and has the MX Editor available for download on their web site.

So that is the remote a local A/V dealer is saying is a URC clone.

It is still software that you must get from your dealer.

Probably, but it's not a clone, it's made by URC. Hopefully, they do the same thing for some of the other models in the line.

URC claimed they didn't want to support end users trying to configure the PC based remotes ... well, that's no longer a problem if NXG is the name on the device.

But at this point they're not carrying the MSC-400, so to get the s/w for that the OP needs to contact a dealer or try to convince URC to supply it.

Sorry, but the software for the MSC-400 is only available to dealers.
