I have customers Toshiba 52rv530u that does not work well when in activity macro. It does not turn on every time when the activities (macro) button is pushed. I have added lots delay before and after command with no luck. If I use the (on) button in device mode and hold it for 1/2 second it responds every time. I'm using Toshiba 2006 discrete code set. I'm wondering if I can import the code in the browser from another URC remote program where repeats are adjustable since the Wizard will not let us adjust repeats. Like know if any body has tried this or thinks it will work before I go back to customers yacht.

Thanks,
Chad

Are you adding the delays in Tune Up or in the Browser? I haven't had much success with delays in the Tune Up section.

Also, you can add repeats of the IR in the Browser. Save the file you're working on and open it Universal Browser. Locate the TV and drag the IR you need into the activity you are having problems with.

One note: the remote tracks what is on by what power actions are in the macro - so make sure you don't delete the power command the software creates or else the remote will do weird things. You can add any IR you want to a macro, but if there's no software-created power command, the remote doesn't think the device is on and won't turn it off.

dsp81,

Thanks, I added the delays in the browser, I do not like the tune up section.
Where can I adjust repeat in the 810 browser? In the other programs I can adjust repeats when selecting the ir commands. I wish the numbers corresponded to a time base, but thats for another day.

Learned tracking the hard way. Customers reciever turns on when input selection commands are recieved. So I deleted the power commands Big Mistake!

There is a way to have the remote send a push-hold power command on power up. In Tune Up > Change Power Method for a Component, click through until you get to the screen where you test your On/Off Automation (SL040). Select Failed Automation Test and that will take you to the screen that you can change the way the power is sent (SL042).

I haven't found a repeat adjustment in the Browser. I've solved other problems by adding the IR command a couple more times in the Browser (As mentioned above), but I don't know that doing so will help you in this situation.

dsp 81,

Thanks for your help, with little tweaking I got it to work. Changed to push hold command power command and put it first in the macro. This was my first mx-810. Totally differnt programing. Not sure if I will use again.
