I don't have CCP, I just have the stand alone MX-980 program with live update. I have the correct IDS matched to the correct device, but I don't see any option for pairing a remote to a base station other than just specifying the ID.

And let me clarify...I have 2 MRF-350s hooked up to 1 RFX-250. This set up is fully functional with my MX-850. To program my MX-980, I went to Program-RF Control in the MX-980 stand alone program. I configured everything in the RF control set up page, and I verified that all IDs and corresponding devices are correct? Do I need to do anything else to get RF functionality other than configuring this main RF control setup?

If you really do have the RF ID in the 980 editor set to the proper RF ID on the base station AND you have selected RF (not IR, or IR & RF) on each device in the RF set up dialogue box, then you should be getting RF to the base station and the activity LED on the base station should light with all/any button push.

Backing up a minute...does the RFX250 antenna blink with all button pushes on the remote? It should, regardless of RFID assignment.

If the RFX250 antenna isn't blinking with any/all button pushes, you either have not set up the devices to be RF (might still be IR) in the RF set up dialog box of the MX980 editor... or you have a bad remote.

You can email me the file and I'll take a look.
