Anyone know why the new Pioneer Elite VSX-94XH receiver or Motorola Comcast HDMI DCT-3416 HDTV box is not listed in the MX-980's pre-programmed IR database list? I'm new at this so anyone want to share where I can find these codes please??? Thanks a ton for any help.

The VSX-94TXH is in there and for the DCT-3416, try the 6416 commands.

hi surf remote,
thanks for your help, however, I still don't see it in the list....the list ends with the 80 series....no 90 series even listed. I do see the vsx-94txh in the 3000 editor, in the 900 and 950 editors and in the 850 editor but it's not in my MX-980 editor. Did it not download correctly maybe, would you mind double checking your 980 editor maybe one more time. Thanks a ton,
K

It's in there...Just like Prego!

Check your version. Latest and greatest is 1.82 for the IRDB.

Yes, it's there. You should have IR database version 1.82 in your MX-980 editor. That's not even the current database (it's 1.83), but that's what's in the MX-980 editor. If you have any version lower than 1.82, do a "Live Update".

Save your remote config file to your desktop for backup reasons.
Completely uninstall the mx-980 editor via add/remove programs from
control panel. Download mx-980 and do a live update. That should do it.

Is there a way to get the 1.83 database data in ProWizard for the MX-810? I see a CCDB.DAT file dated 4/17/2007, but am not aware of how to update the database.

That's the latest and should be the equivalent of 1.83 in the other software.

BTW, I didn't mean to imply that the 2007 date was the latest, but the current database in the MX-810 is.
