Its there under the receivers codes if he used the IRDB.
drag your pointer over the preset codes on the reciever.

should be

Ch +/- = preset +/-
#1-8 =Preset 1-8
other codes should be on subsequent pages on the device.

If there not just use irdb navigator to grap the ones
you want.

this is good advise. what i usually do on yamaha reciever's is make a radio remote, then add the radio buttons i want(pre.up and pre. down.), then either drag n drop or learn them straight from the original. depending on how many presets your using. the yami's make it somewhat hard to do more than 8 present. its becomes multiple buttons and catagory and stuff that i find my customers have a hard time operating. so i just give them a radio device with macro and pre. up and down. then i preset the stations for them. they are happy.

p.s. tell the guy who pregrammed it to get back and add the radio for free. shoulda done it the first time. that's just my 2 cents

Make sure that you upload the program from the remote to the PC before you do anything! At least that way you can get back to having a working remote.
