I just purchased the MX-950 and I was able to program all of my components, except my DIRECTV DVR (HR20 700). Anyone able to get this Satellite receiver programmed into the MX-950?

I've never done a 950, but I've done hundreds of 850s and 900s with the new DirecTV boxes without any problems.

Are you using an RF basestation? If so, are you able to control the box via direct IR?
Did you originally use the DirecTV remote in RF mode? If so, you need to set the box back up to IR.

I'm not using an RF base, however, my DirecTV remote is programmed in RF mode. I'll change it back to IR mode and give that a try.

Thanks

I did what you suggested and reset the remote to IR and the MX-950 now works!!!

Thanks

When you setup the DirecTV box to use the OEM remote as RF, it disables the IR sensor on the front.
