Programming my first macro. Issue: When I run the test command (my computer is in an adjacent room to the home theatre) we're in business. I unplug the USB and try it out in the theatre room and no dice. Some commands just aren't being received by the components. Due to my lack of exp., I tried adding delays in case the commands weren't registering. No luck. My macro is the following: "If hold time > 2 secs, Beep, Alias receiver power on, Alias Tv/power/standby ON, Alias satellite power ON" followed by more alias commands to switch TV and Receiver to their destination. The TV won't power up in this string. I tried switching the order, then the TV would come on but the Receiver wouldn't turn on. All of the commands work individually. I don't get it. I think I understand about 85% of the programming software but here I am already.

Thanks in advance for the help, I'm sure i'll have more questions but for now I just want a few simple macros. I previously had a URC-300.
It could be worse...

If you haven't already done so, try adding a delay right after the Beep.
