It looks like the latest MX-950 Live Update (v1.10.095) has added the ability to open older .mxd files in the universal browser. Previously they had to be converted to .mxf files using an MX-700,800,850 editor.
It would be great if URC would list all of the changes they make in each update.

Yes indeed. I mentioned this in a previous post asking for the same thing. Maybe they will make the change if more people ask.

Open CCS. Open the editor of your choice. Go to the Help menu and click on 'Update History'. This is a link to a section of URC's website that lists the changes in each update.

The list is there but it does not list all of the changes to each update. For example, the latest for the MX950 is listed as:

"MX-950 Editor Update History Software:

Nov 7, 2006 Ver 1.10.094
Update - IR DB version 1.78"

There were changes made to the SW as well, though they are not listed. Unless a user reads about it here or stumbles across any changes on their own, the latest improvements may go unnoticed. Obviously the software engineers at URC know what has been changed, I just think they should list them.

Hmm. I didn't realize the list was incomplete. You're right, it would be more helpful if all of the changes were listed.
