I cannot get my mx3000 to sync with my computer. I have vista and keep getting error messages saying that this unit cannot sync. I did a search and downloaded a different mssync that is suppose to take care of the problem but it still will not sync. My cumputer doesn't even recognize the unit. All I have is the demo showing on the unit and can't even get rid of that to start programming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, scott

I keep an old XP laptop just for my MX3000 and MX950s. What a pain. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a new replacement model from URC that replaces the MX3000 and is designed for Vista. SJ

This may be a long shot, but do you have Palm Desktop/sync manager running? I know that I had a problem with it... For that matter, any type of other sync program (blackberry, etc.) may cause the problem... Once you disable the other program, it should work...

I Agree!!!

To be honest, the mx-3000 has trouble syncing with my dell as well sometimes. I have to completely exit out of MX editor and re-open it! Then there has even been times where I need to restart my computer as well. As I am sure you are all aware when programming there is always something!
