Just recieved my MX-3000 that I purchased at CEDIA. Programmed it, that part works nicely, however it has a habit of just locking up or "freezing". The only way to correct it is to unplug the battery and replug it in. Anybody else having this problem?
Is there a fix for it?

Have you done the live update? The freeze-up problem was resolved by a relatively recent update.....

I had the same problem last week.
Take out the battery, by the side of the battery conection there is a little round silver button this is the reset button. Press the button and this will reset the remote control no files will be lost.
Hope this works for you.

Cheers

That's fine to fix the freeze, but it doesn't fix the underlying problem which causes the units to freeze in the first place. To fix that problem you need to update your software/firmware....

IMO, the freeze is associated with static electricity. Just a thought.

Wow, THAT'S a new one - never heard that explanation before. Since the firware update has fixed the freeze for every one who has posted on the topic in previous threads, apparently the upgrade combats static electricity!! Now, if only I could apply that upgrade to my wife's clothing, I'd never again have to hear about that annoying 'static cling.' :-)
