I have been unsuccessful in getting my MX-900 to learn the Nyko remotes repeat commands (ie. Cursor Up/Down/Left/Right); it will only send a single keypress when learned to the keypad.
Does anyone know how to get the correct codes?

Start by looking in the files area [Link: remotecentral.com]

I should have mentioned that I did that (ie. look in the files are first thing) and all the files there have the same issue. Doing a single press of the Nyko Remote and the learned code on the MX900 yield the same IR code (I have a PC receiver). However, holding and pressing the key on the MX900 keypad DOES NOT send the code repeatedly. The Nyko DOES.
Now it may just be that these IR codes are not repeaters (even though the Nyko sends it repeatedly). Doesn't the MX know by the hex encoding whether a command is a repeater or not?

I took a look at the Pronto file for the Nyko and it seems they're using NEC codes, and that none of those learned commands were repeating either.
Although the Nyko isn't using the original Sony code scheme as on the PS2 DVD remote (which all these things ultimately emulate), it MAY be replicating that remote's odd behavior of sending TWO separate IR codes on the cursor keys; a brief burst of one followed by a second one that repeats. If so, then that may be throwing off the MX-900's learning routine. However since this isn't a direct copy of the original PS2 remote I feel this is rather unlikely.
But you might still want to try the "duck blind" method as described in Features -> Tips & Tricks to Learning IR Codes. Some of the other tips in there may help you get the repeating codes you want.

Hi Daniel, If I use my Tira RS232 adapter and debug program on the PC to decode the Nyko remote when holding a key down, the Nyko always repeats the SAME code (the original). It may be this is just not a repeating code by nature and that the Nyko specifically sends it over and over whereas other remotes will not.

I can't do repeat with my ps3/nyko & mx980 setup, am I screwed-up too?
Thanks
