Hi,

I've had the above combination for about a year now. Everything worked fine until a week ago. Now I can't seem to get my MRF-350 to reliably accept commands from the remote. I've re-read the MRF-350 manual and tried moving the attached 250 RF receiver around. Even in a location it's showing 0 RF interference (RF light is not blinking or lit up) about half the time it won't perform any of the commands when I press the remote. Also when this "blackout" is happening and I stand by the 250 RF receiver I can see the light is not lit up at all, and I press the remote button and it lights up very bright with a few flashes (so it would appear its receiving the RF command from the remote) but nothing happens with my components. Then suddenly a few hours/minutes later it will work again fully with components, also sometimes it works very spotty on and off.

I tried to think of anything that I've changed that could cause this but I have no new components added recently.

Anyone have a solution or ideas? So far in 1 year of owning my MX-950 has stopped working twice for no apparent reason and had to send it in for repair both times and now this nonsense. Not loving the reliability of URC products, was hoping for at least a few years of solid use and so far has been very spotty overall!

When you "sniff" for RF interference, is the MRF-350 set to ID 0?
Also, is it the MRF-350 or MRF-250 (you mention both)?

Ah...the RFX-250, d'oh. That's the receiver, yes.

That is what you want to move around. But RF interference ONLY shows up on ID0. Set it to ID0 then watch the LED.
