After the latest live update, my MX-950 is showing firmware version 1.37. Is this the latest one? Thanks in advance.

In your MX-editor you can find out by clicking on "Help" then on "Update History"

This will bring up a webpage of URC's showing the current update available and a record of the past few updates and what changes the updates made.

Hi,

I made an update today and received Editor Version 1.10.086 and IR DB 1.76?????
How can that happen when you earlier got Version 1.10.094 and IR DB 1.77

The zipfile I received was dated august 8.

The only way I can update is to make a new registration and download what I would guess the latest software.
I have just done that, and it is still the Editor Version 1.10.086 and IR DB 1.76 I get???

If you're downloading the file from URC (other than on the dealer site), it's not the latest version, nor is it updateable. The current version is 1.10.095 and IR DB 1.78, available with software that supports "Live Update".

For a remote control that costs 699$ I think it would be only fair that you as end-user could access the latest software versions. Most all other companies selling hardware are offering you the latest software versions as soon as they are released, if you want to they even email you notification of updates, so I can't understand the policy of URC.

If you purchased from an authorized dealer, then you should be able to obtain the updateable software from that dealer.

I just mailed to B&H Photo Video which is the authorized dealer from whom I bought the unit and asked for the latest software.
So now we will see what happens.

I just bought a MX-950 off eBay and seem to have a software version which doesn't support the live update feature (always get the error message "download failed").
Can someone please provide me with a software install version which supports live update??

Thx much.

If you have a live-update button, the software supports it. You have a connectivity issue if your getting that error. Sometimes I see this happen but a second attempt usually results in a successful download.

It could have to do with your ActiveSync. What version do you have?
