Now, if we could only add variables to the MX-900.
Mike I couldn't agree more!

In the software, what is the purpose of the "hidden" number pad? I had thought the unit would not include a number/keypad?

The hidden number pad gives the IR database a place to save IR codes for the numeric keypad. This makes KP-900 files directly compatible with MX-900 files, and it makes macro recording much faster.
Best regards, Dale

And, as I mentioned on the previous page, it's great for programming favorites.
With the KP-900 editor, you also get the 1.83 database, which as of this moment, is not out yet for the other editors.
As far as availability is concerned, black is shipping this week, white next week and almond the following week.
