Has anyone noticed the "odd" change to the MX-850 software that when you save a remote config file, it doesn't take you to the saved file.

eg... I have a template file that I use to start most remotes, I open that file then "save as" using clients name and date, hit "ok" but the software doesn't jump to the new saved file. I'm still looking at my "template" screen. I then have to go to "open" and find the new file I just created to finish programing. It's so annoying. It also does this when downloading a remote configuration from a remote. After renaming and saving, you have to go find the file. The software doesn't take you to your newly saved file.

I hope I'm not the only one who doesn't like this change. The person who's idea this was should get a swift boot to the head... but after they fix it ;)

(I do have the most current version)

Yes. I've been waiting for them to fix this bug, but so far there haven't been any new releases since it first appeared in version 1.12.888.

I hope I'm not the only one who doesn't like this change.

I think it's a bug, not an intentional change. I can't imagine it's not been reported to them.

I've put up with it since it appeared. You think they could fix it by now.

Nothing against URC as I love their remotes, but they seem more concerned with pumping out new products than with fixing current issues.

Is this fixed yet?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
