I am trying to get hold of discrete on/off commands for a Sony RDR-HXD1070B (a European DVD recorder). I have tried all the generic command sets - the recorder is compatible with [Sony 16], but this command set does not have discrete on/off commands. I have also tried the various RDR- models for which URC provide command sets, but none of these have discrete on/off commands either.

Can anyone suggest where to go from here?

Hi Tweeterguy - thanks for the response.

I'm new to this. Could you tell me how to input the codes, or point me to where I can look it up? (I only know at present how to assign codes using the URC editor program.)

Many thanks.

Tools / Universal Browser (ATL-T-U)

Click Hex

Copy and paste the hex in there and then drag to a button and test it.

Hello everybody!

I try since 2007 to transform my Sony RDR-HXD1070
recorder in multizone player. After a long period research,
I have fiinally found these codes.

I have the Philips Prestigo SRU 9600 remote, and I would
to know if I can put these codes in this remote?
If it is possible, I would to know the different manipulations
to do this.

Thank you for your help and sorry for my bad English.

I haven't worked with the 9600, but most prontos are similiar:

Click on the button.
Go to "set IR"
go to "learn IR"
copy/paste the code.

Hi SysIntegration!

I don't see "set IR" or "learn IR" on the screen on the remote :-(.

Thank you for your help
