Hey all,
We are running home audio through a Matrix Mi series zoned home audio controller. We are trying to us the "group mode" hex using the URC MX-850 for our client and the MX-900 for our custom building. I went through the process of getting the hex into the URC's editor software for each remote via:

-Global Cache's IR Learner and IR Learner utility (Used for capturing Ir commands),
-Prontoeditor4
-and the Universal Browser for the URC's

I used the same command for both the 850 and the 900
And for some unknown reason the 900 is able to us the command but the 850 is not. anyone know why that would be.
Thanx

Paste some samples of the Pronto Hex into this thread. I expect I can figure out what is wrong with them and give you clean Pronto Hex that works better.

I only have an 850, not a 900. I have observed several bugs in the 850 Universal Browser import of signals from CCF files. Sometimes I have even figured out how to create intentionally wrong Pronto Hex that precompensates for the bug and ends up with correct results.

I can't understand why the 900 Universal Browser should get something right that the 850 gets wrong. But I don't really know enough about the 900 to have an informed opinion.

If your problem is purely and 850 Universal Browser bug, you could get correct signals into the 850 by learning (if necessary, from the 900).

BTW, I don't understand your whole sequence. Why not learn directly?

Thank you for responding, Although I Ended up doing a hard reset and the took the file from the 900 and copied them to the 850. I'm having no problem now. Thank you again for responding though.
