Hi,

I am kind of new to this so please be patient. I have completed training on programming the MX3000, and have done some custom layouts and been able to program macros. Now I am trying to add my own graphics and that is where I am stuck.

How do you create a custom background in photoshop? I know how to reduce and image size and everything, but what do you save it as, and how do you import that so you can see it in the mx3000 editor.

It seems that I can only read rcc files in the editor.

Save your backgrounds and buttons as .PNGs. Put these into a file, then go to your templete add a button. Highlight that button then import the new button that you created and saved in your file.

A tip: if you use PNG for your backgrounds, make sure to format them in 24-bit color instead of 32-bit color. They'll use less memory that way and speed up page transitions. Only use 32-bit color for files where you want some part of the image to be transparent or semi-transparent.
