I know the answer is probable already here but, I just got my mx 900 and in trying to download the programing I found I was unable to do so with vista. The good people at urc told me there is a solution at this site.Unfortunatly all I am finding is a lot of complants on this subject,Is there something I can do.I only have one computer and if I don't get a solution soon I will have none because I will be useing my computer to change channels by throwing it at my cable box in the other room. THANK YOU

Interms of connecting and communicating with a MX-900, i haven't had any issue or heard any issues like that. If it ask for a driver point it to the MX-900 folder..

Also try closing all application and plugging into a different USB port, still if that doesn't work, go to device manager and see it drivers are installed correctly (right click "my computer"/manager/device manager)

I tried closing everything, and all my usb ports,I called urc tec and they said the driver should have installed with the editor.when I looked in my device manager I didn't see anything that mentioned mx900 it just showes my usp hubs with an (unknown device ) which I guess is the remote but keeps telling me that there are no drivers for this device.I am useing windows vista and am not familiar with this. All I now is no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall the editor I have the same message show up when I plug in the cable.I even called toshiba tech and they were no help at all,I am sure it is something stupid that I am overlooking.I guess I should have just bought another mx850 that was destroyed when it was chewed by the dog but thought the 900 would improve my reception. Any help would be gratly appreciated. THANK YOU

After trying everything I could think of,I tryed returning the 900 and discovered that the usp cable that came with the 900 was defective, goes to show you never overlook the simple things!
