Thanks. I checked the PEP2 software when I inputed the code and it was designated as Hex. Also checked the properties for the device and set them to 19,200/8/None/1, and finally I also tried using both straight and crosover cable for pins 2 and 3. But allways got the same result, No response. One thing I don't know, is if I have to convert the JVC Hex string to something else before using it in PEP2 and the remote?
