Are you able to control the projector from a PC using hyper terminal or a similar program. I have controlled JVC projectors many times via serial and that is the same string I have always used for Power On. I don't really program Pronto's on a regular basis anymore, but make sure in the software you have it designated as HEX before putting in the code. Also make sure you have the properties set up right, 19,200/8/None/1. Oh yea, be sure to use a crossover cable for pins 2 and 3. Hope that helps.
