I'm new to the RS-232 control world, and I'm having trouble controlling my JVC projector through my RFX9600 controller box and a TSU9400 remote. I connected the projector to the RFX using a home made cable (pins 2,3,5 on the projector side, and Rx, Tx, Gnd on Serial port 4 on the controller box side). Then using the JVC remote Contol Guide, I created a RS device in PEP2 and used Hex code "21 89 01 50 57 31 0A" for power ON, but when I tried it using a test button on the remote, it does not work. I even tried inverting the Tx and Rx cables on the controller box, with the same result. Can anyone help?
