Daniel, I have a feeling that the dongle itself is not simply passing the IR signals to the PC. The fact that the unit installs with no additional drivers leads me to believe that there is some type of Flash memory in the dongle that installs the drivers.

I will try some of the other MCE codes.

I also see an HP dongle on eBay for very little that I might try.
