Well after dismantling the whole antenna, mast and rotor assembly (watch out for those little ball bearings after you remove snap clip) and greased the gearing.

I rewired the rotor directly to dial rotation box THE RAT SHACK ROTOR LIVES

I traced it to a bad wire some where in the middle of the roof and ground level

And the fun part was putting all back together and placing it back on the roof
