I have a PLUS U2-1130 projector that has a lamp hour counter that can only be reset via remote (I know, really stupid). Unfortunately, I don't have the remote. However, I have the remote codes: NEC format, 38kHz, custom code 18e9, and a list of hex codes. It needs discrete On/Off buttons that can be held down to produce continuous signals (ie to reset the lamp involves holding down On for 10 sec, or something like that). I was wondering what is the cheapest universal remote that I can program with these codes to reset the lamp hour counter on the projector. This is really the only thing I need the remote for, and it seems stupid to buy a remote just for this purpose, but so it goes. Any advice on something cheap that I can program to do this job? Thanks for the help!
