Off topic I am not quite sure Ernie but I think if you leave the satellite box on all the time , it might not force a firmware upgrade in the middle of the night. I know Bell TV boxes by default always power off after 4 hours of no remote input to be able to check firmware at 3 am.
Besides what about the kyoto protocol, lol
I agree with you though that most people post questions in old threads (the biggest one the HDTV in Toronto) instead of starting a new one so it is easier to find in the future. I guess Daniel should encourage this in the future.
