I have an older TV (JVC-AV-20120) with a Dish brand DTV-PAL ID035 digital converter box attached. (Not a DVR.) The TV stays on channel 3 and is tuned through the DTV-PAL's tuner. The DTV-PAL's remote is RF.

I bought a Harmony 700 remote to control those plus other components. It controls them all except the DTV-PAL. Called Logitech. They said all Dish brand devices can be "changed" to receive the IR signal that the Harmony sends.

I can't find how to do that in the manual nor online, and phone support from Dish does not seem to be available on this product. Does anyone know if it is possible to change it to receive IR signals, and if so, how? Thanks very much.
