ssabripo's instructions worked like a charm. I tried, what I thought was everything, until I took my time and did as he said. I now have NO issues whatsoever.
Running on a desktop with W7 Ultimate 64bit. FWIW, I'm also running it on a laptop with W7 Enterprise 32bit.
