The sad part is that I understand (now) what you mean by the JP 1.3 cable. I know I will end up going this route for the last few commands I need.

As a matter of fact, I just got through demonstrating to the wife how she only needs to press one button now to watch a DVD or VHS, and then press one button to get back to TV.

P.S. Is there anywhere here in the forums I might find the EFC for a Samsung LCD to program the "TV/Comp" function? This will take the "Comcast greys" to nearly full functions for the family usage.
