I've since discovered this discussion group.
The contributions here are helpful but I'm unwilling
to spend $$$ on a remote to fix Sony's product
problems. I'll watch this forum to see if anyone
gets a good response from Sony that corrects the
problem. If I get one I'll post it.
May I ask what are you using for a remote today? Multiple remotes perhaps?
My harmony is the one remote to rule then all (my multiple AV equipment remotes that is).
I use a spreadsheet and the Harmony 880's DVD listing. The DVD listing automatically loads the disc.
Like I said before this is not an issue for me. I hope you are able to resolve your issue.
