So, I after some research (and checking out the suggestions), I went with a Sony RM-VL610. It works fine. Although, it could be better. One way would be is to have a "setup state" of some sort that let's you save the "state of your setup". For instance, I want to watch my TV using the cable box functions while using the receivers volume control (not the TV's). I have to switch to each component in order to use the specific functions. It all works fine and dandy . . . but I can see how I am about to become a RemoteGeek here shortly. Better functionality. Programmable. Oooohboy, my wife's gonna' freak.

Anyway, thanks to everyone here. I'll be back on soon to check things out.
