Testing the NEC2 device 134.5 codes revealed the following:

POWER ON is Function 82, which has hex code:

0000 006D 0000 0022 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0689

Curiously, I found no codes that correspond to a POWER OFF discrete code.

Also, I misstated that I have the NS-LCD-32. In fact, it's the NS-LCD-37. Don't know if that makes a difference, but thought I'd post that as a caveat for others.
