I looked at that lirc file again. I think the device code is 193.64, not 191.68 as I said in 2008.
That lirc lists a function named "dynamic_mode". That might be the function you want for "dynamic compression". It is function number 79.
Do you have a Pronto, or other remote that can import Pronto Hex, or what?
