This was a cost saving measure on a job that was originally going to have a SRSR rack in an enclosed cabinet. The equipment was located out of the way in a butler's pantry so the customer didn't really care if it was visible.
I think the savings to the customer was around $1500 using this little rolling rack instead. They saved on the rack, cabinet and no need for active cooling.
The budget was tight at the end of their construction and the customer asked if it would cost less to just put the equipment on shelves... this was the compromise and it worked out so well I've done two more that are similar.
