what u can do is a code search. First u press and hold setup till red light stays on. then u press press and release desired device button(tv,vcr etc) the light will then blink once. Continueously press and release on/off button(up to 300 times) till the tv or the equipment u picked turns off. U then press enter to locke the code in then press on/off and it should come right on.
