I'll have a hard time justifiying a $425 Aprilaire T-stat to a customer now. Why the hell is the 8870 non-programmable?
Why would you want to control a programmable one? Would it not override your controller if it was programmed? It makes perfect sense to me as to why Aprilaire doesn't make it programable. Besides that it isn't just about the 8870, It is about a controllable zoned HVAC control system with auxiliary sensors and interfaces. The 8870 is just one part of the system.
