I think the simplest thing to do would be have your macro that runs the HVAC program set an XP-8 flag and have the button go Reversed when that flag is set. Then any other button that could disable that program would have to CLEAR that XP-8 flag.
Seems like it could be simple. Am I forgetting something?
And set an event to run the Macro every day. Should work this way.
