I haven't thought about how to make it end user programmable but if you want to develop a few programs with preset times you can create events that occur at your programmed times. those events can trigger a system macro, create 1 for each event. in that macro test a flag, if the flag is set then send out temp "n". you can test as many flags as you want, so each flag would refer to a thermostat program. then in the remote set or clear a flag and reverse the state to show if the program has been set. this way you can have a few summer modes and a few winter modes.

macro example:
test flag 1(summer mode 1)
if set do x
if not set test flag 2(summer mode 2)
if set do x
if not set test flag 3(winter mode 1)
if set do x
if not set test flag 4(winter mode 2)
if set do x

do 1 of these macros for each time during the day you want a temp change, the timed event in xp8 can trigger those macros per your programming...
