I found a URC-6131nB00, and your method worked like a charm. I'm not sure why it did not work with the 9910, but this is fine.

Thanks so much for your reply. I am having some trouble with your method.

Indeed, I am using setup code 0067 for my HR-S2901U. The hex codes I found here:

This is the remote I am using:
URC-9910B01

When I hold down "set", I don't get blinks, I get, "CODE SET" in the display. With the arrows, I can cycle through to "MAN SRCH," "IR LEARN," "IR DELETE," "VOL LOCK," "VOL UNLOCK," "KEY MACRO," "MODE MAP," "KEYMOVER," "CLOCK SET," "FAV CHAN," "THEATER," "OPS RESET," "UPGRADE ."

I can't find an opportunity to enter '994,' so, either I'm doing it incorrectly (likely) or my 9910 is unable to do what I need it to.

Thanks for the help with this - if this works, it will save me such a hassle.
