i think the reason these requests take so long to be implemented by nevo, is that they want to make sure their software updates actually work.  if you have ever used URC's CCP software, you would notice that it gets updated rather frequently, and not everything in the software works after an update.

i have never had an issue with nevo studio or studiopro not working after an update.
