Chucking boxes around in the spare room the other day and I found the iPronto box and one of the NetXs

What a complete waste of time and money that thing was - it never worked properly.... I bought it off eBay.com (TSi6400 model) for about £700 I think and the screen needed calibrating after about 2 days.

Spent days programming it to work with Sky, Sony DVD changers, home audio... trouble was, it needed calibrating nearly every day so as a remote, was completely useless.

God knows how many years ago, I accidently downloaded (or whatever you did with the updates) Version1.9 of the software and could never get to the Ok button to get back into the remote !

The battery holds days worth of charge (though the remote itself does that annoying thing where it won't wake up again so you have to disconnect it)
The speaker works
The stylus is included
The screen seems perfect (the LCD one behind the touch layer)
I assume the wireless card still works

Any use to anyone ?? Someone who has access to new touchscreens, or has spilt coke all over their iPronto and fancies trying to repair it maybe ??

I think I know where the other NetX is - if I can't find it, I'll come back and update this thread

iPronto has a box, as does one of the NetXs ... pretty sure I can find the charger and the two AC adapters for the NetXs (US plug type)
