I'm in the homerwatson/ottawa area of kitchener, and at ground level facing east,
just my sticking a set top yagi toy antenna (with an amp added inline) out on my
bbq, I get CHCH (18.1) and CW (32.1) from Grand Island without any hassle.
SunTV is trouble some for me here with this set up.
I have a CM4228 and a CM7777 amp as well.
I have played with them on my tri-pod (10ft) before the pair went to cottage.
CBC was no problem any time of the day. ABC, NBC, CBS came and
went. Never FOX.

If you want to try, search south west towards London. SunTV is broadcasting
on 19 in digital from the west side of london. Only at 7KW I think it was.
I pick it up at cottage on Lake Huron near Goderich. About 50 miles away.
I wouldn't expect to much without a larger antenna and good amp though.
