This forum was originally created when the hot mobile device was the Palm - and universal remote control applications were just becoming available for it.

Today that hot device is obviously the iPhone, and the market is finally providing some mature universal remote control solutions that could very well control your entire A/V system (especially due to the introduction of onboard IR).

This forum is for discussion of those apps, as well as iPhone-based control over specific devices and systems.
