Do you really feel comfortable telling this to a customer, knowing what we know?
Do you not think that RTI should start giving answer?
Yes it's true some cell phones and PC have similar problems but two wrongs don’t make a right + most of them will take responsibility and exchange the unit or give you a good deal on upgrading!
I think that a reset in 6-8 months is one thing, but 1-2 a week ?!
Have about 25 2Tc in my stock room, mostly "white screen" with many of these the problem stared out as a once a month issue and slowly became a once a day issue , the importer told me to not even bother sending them in if they are over 1 year old!!!!
I for one am not going to sell stories to a customer to cover RTI's A#@.
I still think that RTI is a great company with great potential, when all works it works great, but they should take a sweeping responsibility for the Lemons.

The problem is that for now this is THE solution in this price range. There simple are not any other house audio solutions with anywhere near the custom ability, programming flexibility, processors, and combination of in wall handheld remotes from ANY other manufacture. Everything else in the price range lacks customizing or requires proprietary hardware to function well.

I guess I just havent had the issues that everyone else has had. Out of maybe 50 handheld controllers I have sent in 2 or 3 for the white screen. A few others I had to free up some storage space or turn off the ambient light sensor and they worked fine. I tell clients as a precaution if anything happens to reset the device. I also tell them they should not have to reset more than once every month or two. Sounds like a reasonable product to me. If you have to reset this product as frequently as you have to change batteries on an MX900 than its probably not a big deal.

Could they make their batteries better? Sure. Could they make their chargers better? Sure. Does that mean I am going to sell URC, Nevo, NetSreams, or Control 4? No way. Does that mean I need to look at Crestron? I dont think so yet but maybe its time for others here to move on.
